We are pleased to announce that RIIFO PP-R monolayer pipe and fiber composite pipe have achieved NSF-61 certificate.

NSF-61 is an internationally recognized standard for “Drinking Water System Components-Health Effects”, concerning stringent requirements on materials and products used in contact with drinking water. It is developed by the National Sanitation Foundation (NSF), a global independent public health and environmental organization, and the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) which oversees the consensus for developing standards for manufacturing and procedures in the United States.

RIIFO uses high quality imported raw materials and manufactures PP-R pipes based on lean production management, providing significant product advantages including, but not limited to, excellent product consistency, high temperature resistance, low incidence on taste and odor and good impact strength. Therefore, Rifeng’s PP-R pipes are suitable for potable water piping system with hygienic and non-toxic features. As tested and authorized by NSF, these Rifeng products are specifically formulated for drinking water system components with NSF-61 compliance. This NSF-61 certification provides the highest level of assurance that our products are safe for use in drinking water service.

Apart from NSF-61, RIIFO PP-R systems have also been certified by DVGW, which provides technical and scientific support for the gas and water industries, focusing on safety, hygiene and environmental protection. DVGW is the most stringent testing association for water and gas worldwide and has been in business for over 200 years.

Through our manufacturing processes and our stringent testing, we are proud that our RIIFO PP-R systems have been marked with the DVGW certificate. The DVGW quality mark indicates that RIIFO PP-R Systems obtained the highest level of safety and quality in provision of natural gas and potable water to the public.

Since 2008 when RIIFO first launched PP-R systems, PP-R systems have been continually upgraded to the highest standards. With an annual output of over 550 million meters in PP-R pipes and over 600 million sets in PP-R fittings, production capacity of RIIFO can be considered as one of the best in the country and the world. At the same time, we are very proud to say that RIIFO is the only enterprise in the national piping industry that has achieved both NSF-61 and DVGW certifications. Every one of these achievements is further proof of RIIFO's quality and strength.

Obtaining NSF-61 and DVGW demonstrates our continued commitment to work on product management and development. It also explains that RIIFO is committed to improve quality management systems to achieve the highest standards in various areas. However, the process does not end there.
